Environmental Technology Inc. Flood Coat Calculator

Use this calculator to quickly determine how much product will be required to coat your project. This is an approximation only and should only be used as a guide. The calculations below are based on a sealed surface. Most wood surfaces require 1 to 2 thin seal coats prior to flood coating. Note: Hardwoods such as Oak and Mahogany are very porous and usually require 2 to 3 seal coats prior to flood coating. Warning: Do not pour more than 1/8inch thick at one time. Thick pours should be done in successive pours, allowing each pour time to cure.
Rectangle or Square Surface Area
Enter the table top width and length below.
Make sure to include
the edge in your calculations. Example: if the
table top is
36" wide by 48" long and has 2 inch edge around the perimeter.
You
must add 4"
to the width and 4"
to the length.
Final measurements including the edge would
be 40" wide by 52" long.

Round Surface Area
Enter the table top diameter (or width) below.
Make sure to include
the edge in your calculations. Example: if the table top is 36" in diameter and has 2 inch edge around the perimeter. You must add 4" to the diameter. Final measurements including the edge would be 40" in diameter.
